Origin
Patchouli appears in the Officina catalogue from at least the 1880s, both as a single extract and within the Tripli Estratti, the triple extracts, a range of concentrated perfumes of the period.
Patchouli Eau de Cologne, referencing the plant whose leaves protected Indian shawls on the Silk Road. Opens with bergamot and geranium. Patchouli and jasmine at the heart. Patchouli, sandalwood and musk at the base. Aromatic and woody.
