  <p>The species is documented at Villa Medicea di Castello, where it has grown since its introduction to Florence in the 18th century. A genus that dates back to the prehistoric era, Magnolia grandiflora is an evergreen with large white flowers, one of the few flowering plants largely unchanged over millions of years. Floral and resinous in character, the composition opens on White Rose Accord and Geranium before settling into a base of Amber and Musk. From I Giardini Medicei.<br></p>
