I'm writing to agree with Chantal. I've bought these for years (whenever I can afford them). I've never experience this before, but my recent purchase had virtually no smell. If I hold my nose to the new pomegranate, it smells like a very faded drydown of the melograno scent, but usually a new pomegranate will fill the whole room with a delicious cloud of melegrano. Usually even the package itself is so scented that it projects fragrance. I compared my purchase to two older pomegrantates I still have. Both the older pomegrantes, to my nose, had a better, stronger smell. I did reach out and heard a very kind, thoughtful response from the team. They even checked the batch number. Nothing was technically wrong with the batch, but it sounded like there's been a slight reformulation. Apparently, it's now technically stronger, which is odd. But perhaps i'm anosmic to the new note or note(s). I still have it and I'm hoping it develops or changes. I actually do smell a little waft of something when I walk by, a few feet away, but it's an odd smell I can only describe it as sour yellow flower. I hate to leave a negative review for a beloved product and company, but I'm bummed every time I pass by the new pomegranate and I'd be overjoyed to learn this was a fluke and the there's going to be a return to the old formulation.
